Portarlington Community Market
Portarlington Community Market is held in the wonderful seaside village of Portarlington, 30 kms from Geelong on the spectacular Bellarine Peninsula.
Enjoy the wonderful atmosphere as you browse or buy, strolling through the beautiful parkland that takes in the best views of Port Phillip Bay while watching the local mussel boats and fishermen go about their trades.
The market stalls are brimming with local delicacies, farm fresh produce, toys, books and music. Select from a great range of arts, crafts, gifts and home wares or fashion for the whole family, even the pets.
Take a break in our food court where you can sip on fabulous coffee, enjoy a hot potato or relax in comfort enjoying a lovely devonshire tea in the air conditioned Park View room. Our school's barbeque serves sizzling hamburgers and sausages and you can say hello to the parents who donate their time to raise funds for our school, situated right across the road. There is something for the whole family to enjoy while the children share a picnic with a local seagull or play in the park.
All proceeds from the market go directly to the students at Portarlington Primary School to help provide the best education possible.
New permanent and casual stalls are welcome with indoor and outdoor sites available right through the year.
Held at Parkes Hall on the LAST Sunday of every month (not Xmas).
