Spring Open Cellars Weekend - 19th & 20th October 2019

Open Cellars of Nillumbik consists of a collection of boutique family owned wineries on the north western edge of the Yarra Valley, just 15 minutes from Eltham and Greensborough, and just 45 minutes from the Melbourne CBD.

Here in the Nillumbik Wine region you will find 12 local wineries opening their doors and participating in this fantastic weekend of fine wine, amazing food, live music, art displays and incredible views and country vistas.

This annual event provides an opportunity for visitors to explore our area and to truly experience what the Nillumbik Shire has to offer. Each winery will provide you with an individual experience of quality wines showcased by the families that grow the grapes and make the wine. The wineries are nestled among the green rolling hills and hamlets of Kangaroo Ground, Smiths Gully, Panton Hill, St Andrews, Cottlesbridge, Arthurs Creek and Yarrambat which all provide a true sense of history and charm.

The participating wineries include Buttermans Track Wines, Easthill Estate, Giammarino Wines, Hildebrand Ridge Organic Vineyard, Kings of Kangaroo Ground, Nillumbik Estate, Panton Hill Winery, Punch, Shaws Road Winery, Swipers Gully, Wedgetail Estate, and Yarrambat Estate Vineyard. See event brochure and trail map for further details and particular highlights for each winery across the weekend.

Entry to all of the wineries are free, so don't miss out on a truly magnificent weekend to enjoy incredible wines, amazing food and views, marvelous live music and art displays, and a truly Nillumbik Wine experience.
