Legendary musician and songwriter Midge Ure is set to return to Australia this October for a national tour, bringing his extensive catalogue of hits from his solo career and iconic bands like Ultravox, Thin Lizzy, and Visage.
Touring Australia for the first time since 2020, Ure's Catalogue tour is a must-see for longtime fans and newcomers alike, offering a journey through his remarkable musical legacy. Melbourne audiences will be able to see him on Friday 17 October at The Palais Theatre in St Kilda.
Known for co-writing and producing the iconic Band Aid single Do They Know It's Christmas?, Ure has left an indelible mark on music history. His career spans decades, with chart-topping hits like Ultravox's Vienna, Visage's Fade to Grey, and his solo smash If I Was. Beyond his studio success, Ure has directed legendary concerts and shared stages with icons like Phil Collins, Sting, and Sir Paul McCartney.
"Live music remains my first love," says Ure. "This tour will allow me to revisit moments from my musical life and share them with audiences. I'm really looking forward to it."
