Military History Conference: Masters of War: The AIF in France

The Australian Infantry Force was at the top of their game in late 1918. Their crowning glory was the Battle of Amiens in which they drove the German forces back an astonishing 11 km on the first day. Erich Ludendorff, the enemy leader, proclaimed it as the "black day of the German Army".

This conference explores the AIF's triumphs of 1918. Distinguished contributors cover the major battles of the year along with the role of tanks, planes and stealth raiding.

MHHV members $50, General Public $75- lunch and light refreshments included.
