REWARD $1m - Unsolved Crimes

Did you know the oldest outstanding reward for an unsolved crime in Victoria is $50,000 for the recovery of the Speaker’s mace on 9th October 1891.

Today Police doubled a reward over a cold-case murder to $100,000 reward for information about the murder of a man found buried on top of a body in a grave near Shepparton in Victoria nine years ago.

It is about 5 feet long, and is beautifully engraved with the English and Victorian coats-of-arms, the maltese (sic) cross.

Melbourne Murder- $100,000 Reward
Police have offered a reward of up to $100,000 to try to solve the murder of a man whose body was found in a river east of Melbourne in 2000.

Mrs Thurgood-Dove - $1 million reward
In June of 2003 the Victorian Government announced a $1 million reward for for information leading to a conviction in the murder of Mrs Thurgood-Dove.
