LEGO School Design Competition

LEGOLAND Discovery Centre launches School Design Competition

LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Melbourne is calling on teachers and students to help put their school on the map with the launch of the attraction's inaugural 'LEGO School Design Competition'.

Open to all schools in Melbourne, entrants are encouraged to put on their LEGO creative thinking caps, draw their school and submit a photo to the centre's Facebook page using the hashtag #MyMINILANDSchool.

The winning design will be judged and selected by the attraction's Master Model Builder, David Holder, and will be built and showcased in the MINILAND exhibit, the attraction's 1.5 million LEGO brick replica of Melbourne. Students and teachers from the top school will also have the unique opportunity to participate in creating their own LEGO school and win a trip to the centre.

Entries will be accepted until 7pm, 22 September 2017 with the winning school to be announced in October 2017.
To enter:
- Upload a picture or scan the entry school design at www.melbourne.legolanddiscoverycentre.com.au/whats-inside/events/school-design-competition-for-miniland/ or post an image of the created school design to the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Melbourne Facebook page at www.facebook.com/LEGOLANDDiscoveryCentreMelbourne
