Jewish Teen Giving Initiative Walkathon
Princes Park - Caulfield South
Sunday 17th September 2017

Join the Jewish Teen Giving Initiative for fun walkathon on Sunday the 17th of September at Princes Park in Caulfield South.

With the walk commencing at 11 o'clock, return to sausages and drinks for lunch and well as face painting and a bake sale stall. There will also be a raffle with some spectacular prizes including vouchers and hampers! Bring your family, friends and even pets!

The Jewish Teen Giving Initiative has selected three amazing charities to support: Red Dust, Friendship Circle and One Family. All proceeds from the day will go towards grants for amazing projects in these organisations.

Red Dust delivers innovative health promotion programs and community development projects in partnership with remote communities. They encourage Indigenous youth to learn more about health and make healthy lifestyle choices through the mentoring and influence of positive role models in sport, art, music and dance.

Friendship Circle creates friendship in the lives of individuals with special needs and those facing isolation while providing an opportunity to become a contributing member of the community. Friendship Circle aims to promote an inclusive community that values all individuals regardless of the challenges they face.

OneFamily is the family of Israel’s victims of terror attacks – those who have been bereaved, those who have been injured, and those suffering from post-trauma as a result of terrorist attacks since 2001. OneFamily empowers victims of terror to rebuild their lives, rehabilitate and reintegrate through emotional, legal, and financial assistance programs geared toward each of the following: Orphans, Bereaved Parents, Parents of Injured Children, Widows and Widowers, Young Adults, and Youth Injured and Bereaved.
