Stress, anxiety, obesity are key health problems and causes of many diseases, some of which are fatal. Many can be avoided by moving more and creating a healthy lifestyle.
'We all know how difficult it is to plan and include wellness activities in our daily schedule. It could be from lack of time or lack of knowledge of what to do,' says Natalie Pickett, Founder and CEO of Wellness on Time, an online wellness program launched in January this year. 'Finding ways that increase the range of movement for your body, and finding easy healthy food choices, can bring health benefits and greater life enjoyment,' said Natalie.
'Our Geelong Community Health and Wellness Day will give visitors access to expert health and wellness information, provide an opportunity to improve physical and mental health for themselves and their family, learn about affordable and nutritious food, and encourage social connection and involvement in community and group activities,' said Natalie.
'Local health and wellness practitioners including sport, fitness, recreation, lifestyle, nutrition, holistic therapies and positive health exhibitors from the region, will engage with the local community in a very special one-day event to establish relationships, discuss and demonstrate a range of health and wellness activities, services and products to share health and wellness fun with everyone.'
