Celebrate on any day in September Fight Cancer Foundation's Footy Colours Day
Footy Colours Day is a national fundraising campaign held during the month of September where participants are encouraged to wear their favourite team's colours and host an event at their school, organisation, group or club to raise funds for kids with cancer.
Fight Cancer Foundation is calling on all Aussies to 'show their true colours' and spread joy this September during Footy Colours Day in support of children with cancer.
Footy Colours Day is all about footy fans putting aside team rivalries and wearing their favourite teams colours to raise much needed funds for Fight Cancer Foundation.
More than 800 Australian children and young people are diagnosed with cancer each year. Donated funds from Footy Colours Day will go towards helping these children continue their education, allowing them to transition back to their regular school once their treatment is complete.
Popular fundraising activities for Footy Colours Day include sausage sizzles, footy themed fashion parades, footy coin lines, picnic lunches indulging in footy pies, footy matches and longest kick competitions!
Register your school, organisation, group or club at footycoloursday.com.au and join in on the action.
