Film Victoria

Film VictoriaFilm Victoria works in partnership with film, television and games practitioners and industries to foster innovation and excellence in projects and people, encourage audience engagement, and promote our unique and diverse state as a filming destination.

Film Victoria is the State Government agency that provides strategic leadership and assistance to the film, television and digital media sectors of Victoria.

We aim to increase screen activity in Victoria and be a responsive advocate for the screen industry. We do this in a range of ways: through funding the production and development of screen content, industry placements, filming incentives, location assistance, industry events, partnership activities and other support, all which help develop and strengthen the Victorian screen industry.

FUNDING
We fund the development and production of feature films, television, online and games and provide incentives for production and post-production. We also fund fellowships, industry placements, travel to international markets and festivals and provide support for screen culture and industry.

Funding programs are developed in consultation with industry to ensure support is relevant, progressive and responsive to industry's needs.
