Chadstone - The Fashion Capital launches Festival De Luxe To continue the celebration of Chadstone's extended trading hours, The Fashion Capital is excited to launch Festival De Luxe, an activation that brings to life a series of professionally choreographed cabaret-style performances from 4pm until close on Saturdays during October (7 October – 28 October). Choreographed by internationally-renowned La Soiree Artistic Director, Brett Haylock, the performance will premiere at Chadstone, before taking stage at London’s Aldwhych Theatre in the iconic West End Entertainment District. Chadstone shoppers will be wowed by numerous activities across the center: including cabaret, burlesque, circus sideshows, contemporary performances and much more. Lucky shoppers will have the chance to indulge in a full London experience as the Fashion Capital will host a competition alongside all performances. At each of the Festival de Luxe stages between 4pm – 9pm, Festival De Luxe goers will have the opportunity to go into the draw to win a trip for two to experience being front row at La Soirée on the West End, including flights and accommodation, valued at $5,000. In addition to La Soiree’s awe-inspiring performance, Strange Fruit and Born In A Taxi will delight shoppers with entertainment throughout the festival. Strange Fruit is a world-renowned performing arts company that fuses theatre, dance and circus using their unique, trademark sway-pole apparatus, while Born In A Taxi is visual, poetic, ridiculous and profound. The renowned physical theater ensemble will perform Enlighten, a work a visual meditation reflecting on how we connect, the light in life and our search for the divine within us all. To accompany the performances, The Dining Terrace will create tailor made menus which will complement the theatrical theme, allowing shoppers to truly immerse themselves in dinner and a show.
