Melburnian

A person from Melbourne is a Melburnian. The variant spelling 'Melbournian' is considered grammatically incorrect as it would make us a mel-BORN-ian instead of a mel-BURN-ian. Sometimes you'll see Melburnite (but they have no idea).

Aussie knicknames: Victoria: Mexicans, Western Australia (Perth): Sandgropers, South Australia (Adelaide): Crow Eaters, New South Wales (Sydney): Cockroaches, Queensland (Brisbane): Cane Toads, Northern Territory (Darwin): Territorians and Darwinian, Tasmania: Tasmanians.
