MAKE IT - BAKE IT - GROW IT - RECYCLE IT This is a true community market, with an eclectic mix of fresh produce, plants, locally made goods, and bric-a-brac. The Bruthen Community Market showcases a wide range of quality home-made jams, chutneys, fresh farm produce, boutique wines & ciders as well as other products and services. Something for all the family - boutique artisans - soy products, natural soap & skin care, jewellery & gems, woodcraft, fashions - kids wear, ladies fashions (unique designs), wood signs, gourmet foods & spices, local honey, knitted & woven homewares, canvas paintings, knitwear, silk garments, plants, gluten free fudge, spices, condiments, jams, jellies, chutneys, sauces, coffee & cakes, unique artwork, floral arrangements, vegetables, seasonal fruit & vegies, collectables, soy candles & melts, mosaics & original paintings, handcrafted polymer clay jewellery, silver jewellery, patchwork quilts, organic herbal teas, hand dyed wools, felting, jewellery made from cutlery, wines & cedars, signs made from fence recycled palings, baby wear, reversible kids clothing, native plants, herbs & vegetable seedlings, personalised handmade cards, original artwork & journals & snacks from our tea rooms and food vendors. FREE Family Friendly Event: The ground surface is mostly concrete with pram and wheelchair access The market is suitable for all ages Car parking: Ample street parking and off street parking in the Police Paddock at the rear Refreshments: Provided by some of the local Bruthen community groups sell refreshments on the day: Sausage Sizzle (sausage and onion with bread and sauce) - Bruthen Primary School Freshly made donuts for sale - Lions Club of Bruthen Tea Rooms will be open (tea/instant coffee, biscuits, GF snacks) PLUS real coffee sold by Koffee Kombie with their mobile coffee service Great opportunity to catch up with friends & family over snack or coffee and purchase your fresh fruit & veggies, jams, chutneys, gifts and more. Toilet facilities: available inside the Community Hall (key available at the Lions Stall) Morning Tea facilities: come and enjoy a cuppa with your friends and family following your visit to the Bruthen Lions Community Market. Local Community Groups Involvement encouraged: We encourage all local community groups to be involved in our monthly markets Special community events are incorporated with the market day Our market is located at the Bruthen Mechanics Hall Grounds - trading stall holders are located throughout the property including outside, under veranda covering and in the backyard of the Bruthen Mechanics Hall as well as activities on the Police Paddock. BAEC handed over to the Bruthen Lions Club Inc management. New name (was Bruthen Village Market) and now 3rd Saturday of month (not January) or February (Bruthen Blues & Arts Festival) and December, when the market is held as a twilight market in conjunction with the community Christmas Carols.
