The 9th Brimbank Kite Festival, a free public event, is a great family day out where you can learn to make the 'Simplest kite in the world', watch local performances and have a soaring high time.
Colourful giant and novelty kites will on Sunday, 24 November 2019, colour the skies at Kings Park Reserve.
Join them with BYO kites, buy one from organiser, or if you are under 10 get one of the limited free kites following the Opening Ceremony at 12 noon.
Come with your cameras to capture the moments, interact with the locals in a fun, safe and supportive environment. There will also be sausage sizzle, ice cream, fairly floss, coffee..
This free all ages kite festival, previously known as Sydenham Kite Festival, is organised for the 9th consecutive year by CALDERS Community Inc with the support of Brimbank City Council, local businesses and community groups.
