Black Rock House | Open Day & Guided Tours
Costumed volunteer members of Friends of Black Rock House greet visitors and conduct tours of the property on the first Sunday of every month (not January).
Learn of the intriguing history of the house built as a holiday residence by Victoria's first Auditor-General, Charles Ebden, visit the stable yard, marvel at the Moreton Bay Figs and the castle wall, unique to Melbourne.
Tours are conducted by costumed guides to add to the fun of your Victorian experience.
It is a great destination for a Sunday drive and then you can head to Bluff Road or Ricketts Point cafes for afternoon tea or to the beach for a picnic.
Admission is free, but a gold coin donation would be appreciated.
