Billy Sutherland wants to be the next big online sensation.
The only things standing in his way are his inability to afford a new video camera and the fact that The Wiggles won't let him cover their songs.
Follow him as he tries to navigate the often brutal, not-always-sensical world of the internet as well as his less than reliable technology.
Billy vs the Internet is an original comedy in one act and is the first self-penned work by Sam Hargreaves and Eurydice Dixon.
Billy vs The Internet
A PERFORMER who developed a play with the late Eurydice Dixon is bringing it to life in his Melbourne Fringe debut.
Sam Hargreaves will perform his one-man show Billy vs The Internet at Melbourne's The Butterfly Club. Hargreaves and Dixon began working on the show while studying drama at Deakin University in 2017.
Dixon later left the course to pursue other opportunities before she was murdered in Carlton last year.
"It was going to be a twohanded show, both of us playing these nerdy social outcasts," Hargreaves said.
"I was hoping at some point we would be able to meet up outside of uni and finish it off, but that didn't end up happening."
