Backstage Tour

Take Arts Centre Melbourne’s Backstage Tour and discover what lies beyond, behind and beneath the walls of our theatres, and how the magic of performance is brought to life.

Over 90 minutes, our specially trained Backstage Tour guides reveal the secrets of our theatres.

You will gain unique access to backstage rooms, hidden passageways and technical contraptions unknown to anyone but our production crews and performers.

During the tour, you will trace the footsteps of famous performers, directors and choreographers, and hear behind-the-scenes stories about some of the major productions that have graced our stages.

When: Every Sunday at 11am (please arrive 10-15 minutes prior)

Duration: 90 minutes

Tour Departure Point: Welcome Desk (just inside the main doors of the building with the Spire)

Tickets: $25.00 (limited numbers)
