We welcome you to enjoy a new format, extended to feature a core program that includes Off The Hook, Harbour Day and Conversations On The Edge; three new events that endeavour to profile those who actively share our vision to champion the spirit of our local fishing community, the world-class seafood sourced locally from our waters, and the rugged beauty of our coastal town.
FESTIVAL INFOThe 2018 Apollo Bay Seafood Festival coincides with the 70th anniversary of the Apollo Bay Fishermen's Co-Op. This is exciting as it remains one of only three remaining operational fishing co-operatives in Victoria. This year's Festival marks a new beginning. We are excited to present you with a new festival format, extended to feature a core program that includes Off The Hook, Harbour Day and Conversations On The Edge; three new events that endeavour to profile those who actively share our vision to champion the spirit of our local fishing community, the world-class seafood sourced locally from our waters, and the rugged beauty of our coastal town. You'll notice that we have relocated the festival from its original grounds on the grassy foreshore, to the new location at the Apollo Bay Harbour. Be captivated, provoked and inspired as you explore this unique festival of events programmed in response to this year's Festival theme, Seas The Day. Dine with 200 other food lovers at Off The Hook, a shared seafood celebration prepared by MoVida's Frank Camorra. Clamber about fishing boats and taste the seafood straight from the source at Harbour Day, Saturday's open day at the Apollo Bay Harbour. Get your hands dirty at one of the cooking workshops scattered throughout town. Meet farmers and fishermen at Conversations On The Edge. Or catch your breath at the end of your weekend over locally distilled spirits at Whisky Wind-Down. However you choose to spend your weekend, Seas The Day! 2018 Festival Crew
