FESTIVAL INFOThe 2018 Apollo Bay Seafood Festival coincides with the 70th anniversary of the Apollo Bay Fishermen's Co-Op. This is exciting as it remains one of only three remaining operational fishing co-operatives in Victoria. This year's Festival marks a new beginning. We are excited to present you with a new festival format, extended to feature a core program that includes Off The Hook, Harbour Day and Conversations On The Edge; three new events that endeavour to profile those who actively share our vision to champion the spirit of our local fishing community, the world-class seafood sourced locally from our waters, and the rugged beauty of our coastal town. You'll notice that we have relocated the festival from its original grounds on the grassy foreshore, to the new location at the Apollo Bay Harbour. Be captivated, provoked and inspired as you explore this unique festival of events programmed in response to this year's Festival theme, Seas The Day. Dine with 200 other food lovers at Off The Hook, a shared seafood celebration prepared by MoVida's Frank Camorra. Clamber about fishing boats and taste the seafood straight from the source at Harbour Day, Saturday's open day at the Apollo Bay Harbour. Get your hands dirty at one of the cooking workshops scattered throughout town. Meet farmers and fishermen at Conversations On The Edge. Between Home: Odyssey of an Unusual Sea Bandit is a high spirited, poetic adventure documentary that chronicles a young person's rights of passage, from novice sailor to expert in three years of life aged in salt, sun and wind. Pack a blanket and a picnic and head down to the habourside. Beer and wine available at the Club Bar. Parking available but we encourage everyone to come by foot or bike. APOLLO BAY FARMER'S MARKET Fresh seasonal produce direct from the farmer Apollo Bay Farmer's Market showcases some of the finest produce for your pantry from the Otways. From fresh vegetables to locally-farmed meat, perfectly baked bread, organic tea, preserves and much more. Make the it to the Apollo Bay Farmers Market for your Sunday morning locally roasted coffee fix, meet the real people behind the produce, pick up locally-made goods and enjoy the community fun. BLUES BY THE BAY Seafood BBQ & blues at the Bottom Pub Settle into an afternoon of smooth jazz tunes and commentary from local winemakers at the famous Apollo Bay Hotel. Nourish your appetite with the fresh seafood on offer or partake in the barbecued seafood feast on the deck during this one-off event of wines, brews and blues. APOLLO BAY COMMUNITY MARKET Local produce, handcrafts & art on the foreshore Come along and revel in wonderful local produce, food, artworks, and crafts, direct from the farmers and makers who gather every Saturday on the Apollo Bay foreshore. The community market is an opportunity to buy directly from Apollo Bay producers; there are no middle-men or on-sellers, and everything is grown and made within 40km of the Bay. Enjoy a locally-roasted coffee as you shop and fill your basket with farm fresh and organic fruit, vegetables, various seedlings, flowers, free range eggs, grass fed meat, truffles, honey, homemade preserves, ciders and freshly baked treats. Visitors can find unique hand-crafted ceramics, jewellery, clothing, photography, toys, soaps, skincare and much more. HELLO SAILOR Drink with sailors at the local Sailing Club's pop up bar Ahoy all yachtsman, yachtswomen and yachts-tots! BYO fish and chips from Harbour Day, come and relax on the lawns by the Sailing Club bar. You'll have the opportunity to chat with local sailors and friends and witness the seafarers compete in the 2018 Crayfish Cup. Thirst-quenching beer and well-chilled bubbles will be available to purchase whilst you take in the stunning harbourside views.

The Kids Program runs from 10am to 6pm Will it be fun. Yes, absolutely.
