See the iconic Walsh Street house as never seen before. Artist Yandell Walton’s work investigates ideas around impermanence, mortality and the otherworldly. Often working with architectural spaces and combining them with projected images she is interested in the blur between the actual and the virtual.
After a residency at The Robin Boyd House in Walsh Street she has developed a series of projection works which will be exhibited on Tues 25th, Thur 27th and Sat 29th April.
An opportunity to tour this iconic house which exist in pretty much the same condition as when it was occupied 1959, while experiencing an award winning artists work.

Yandell is an accomplished projection installation artist exhibiting regularly in galleries and non-traditional public spaces both in Australia and Internationally. In 2015 she completed a Masters of Fine Arts at Victorian College of the Arts. Her award-winning work has been widely exhibited nationally and internationally in galleries and non-traditional public spaces. Recent highlights include Light City Baltimore (2016), ‘Best Of Show’ Award at Digital Graffiti Florida (2015) and White Night Festival Melbourne (2013 & 2015).

Presented with the Centre for Projection Art, this catered evening will run from 6-9pm
and includes a Q&A session between Yandell Walton and David Sequeira, Director of The Margaret Lawrence Gallery at VCA.
