What is Museums Australia (Victoria)?

Museums Australia (Victoria) is the Victorian branch of Museums Australia, the national association representing the museum and gallery sector. Museums Australia (Victoria) provides professional services for members to develop and sustain the role and interests of museum communities across Victoria. The organisations mission is to build an environment in which Victoria museums, museum personnel and museum-based activities flourish and develop.

Tourism Business and Accreditation Link
In August 2006 the Australian Government launched a tourism business and accreditation portal called Quality Tourism. The Quality Tourism website offers business improvement suggestions and information on quality systems and accreditation programs that includes our own Museum Accreditation Program (MAP). The portal can be accessed at www.qualitytourism.com.au.
