MSAC FlowRider

MSAC FlowRider

Come and see Victoria's latest attraction! Located alongside the MSAC outdoor pool, MSAC FlowRider is a 21st century surfable wave that brings together the sports of surfing, skateboarding, wakeboarding and snowboarding in an exciting and fun way.

The first of its kind in Victoria, MSAC FlowRider brings the waves to the city. The wave - like experience permits riders to slide down, carve a turn and ride up the wave surface. Built for all age groups and skill levels, the FlowRider is perfect for families, teenagers, as well as serious FlowBoarders and surfers looking to hone their skills when there's no surf.

FlowRider

Ride the FlowRider today at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre!!!

The FlowRider combines surfing, snowboarding, skateboarding and flowboarding on water challenging riders to develop new tricks to emulate their heroes.

FlowRider generates a thin sheet of rushing water that flows over a stationary form allowing riders to drop in on their own unbroken wave, slide down, carve a turn, cut back and ride up the padded surface.

Flowboarding sessions for beginners and intermediate riders are held every 1.30 minutes.

MSAC FlowRider

To ride the MSAC FlowRider you will need to download and fill out the MSAC FlowRider Declaration Form and present on arrival at MSAC.

An induction is mandatory for all new riders on the MSAC FlowRider. The induction includes a safety briefing, demonstration and flow session.

Enjoyed the experience so much you want more???
Session start times 7am - 7pm
