Camberwell Sunday Market |
| The Camberwell Sunday Market is run by the Rotary Club of Balwyn (RCB) as a means of raising funds for a wide range of charities. The Market has raised over $7m for the community. The market is great for vintage clothing, crockery and books as well as unusual things like old photo albums, typewriters and ornaments. You never know what you'll find there and with a bit of luck and digging you might uncover that hidden vintage gem. Some stall owners are happy to haggle so you might be able to save a few dollars. It's easy to spend the whole morning wandering through the markets in time for lunch at one of the many cafes and restaurants on Burke Road. The market trades every Sunday (except for the Sunday prior to Christmas Day). Operates in the carpark on the western side of Station Street. (see Melway Ref: 45 J 12) Going strong since 1976... |
