Following the success of Zara and Top Shop, Swedish fashion giant H & M is coming to Australia's fashion capital city, Melbourne.

The fashion giant was rumoured to be scouting for locations in Melbourne, including both Chadstone Shopping Centre and Emporium in Melbourne.

H M, known also as, Hennes Mauritz is known for its fast-fashion clothing for men, women, teenagers and children. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB comprises five different independent brands – H&M, COS, Monki, Weekday and Cheap Monday. The H&M Group has a total of approximately 2,500 stores all over the world and employs around 94,000 people.

H&M, which opened its first store in Sweden in 1947, is now represented on more than 40 markets. H&M’s designers create a broad and diverse range of fashion for men, women, youth and children. In addition to the clothes cosmetics, accessories and home textile products are all part of what H&M has to offer.

It is ranked the second largest global clothing retailer.
