As with many markets in Victoria, the markets in Sorrento have not been confirmed. Its not unusual for a market to not have a web site, or phone number, so they can be difficult to contact but as with many listings, we rely on readers to keep information updated.***
While the markets below can be found listed on many web sites, none have contact information and so we are unable to confirm the markets are definitely on.
We've tried calling both Mornington Peninsula Shire (never answers the phone) and Sorrento Portsea Chamber of Commerce (on holidays in January**) but still unable to confirm.
Here is what we have found on other web sites, but the details are 'not' confirmed.
Sorrento Seaside Market
For everything CRAFT, the Sorrento Market operates on the Sorrento Foreshore during the summer months each year. Come along to see all your local favourites and more.
Sorrento Foreshore, 4th Saturday of month* - 8am - 1pm

* Sept-Feb, 8am-1pm | Some sites say Sept-Feb while other says Sept-April while all agree with the times 8am-1pm.
** Taking holidays during the holiday season seems odd to us. Bit like Andrew Demetriou (chief executive officer of the Australian Football League) taking holidays halfway through the AFL season.. crazy.
Sorrento Farmers' Market
Firstly, don't fall for the Sorrento Village Farmers' Market (its in Sorrento Canada)
