Boasting a repertoire of more than 300 tunes, the dynamic Grand WaZoo is unsurpassed, as the finest, most authentic and entertaining Soul Supergroup in this country. Formed in June 1981 by Melbourne trumpeter-arranger, John Montesante, this 14-15 piece soul orchestra performs soul hits, rare soul gems, and Grand WaZoo originals in that same brassy, big soul style. Not only does Grand WaZoo sound wonderful, but the line up looks like an authentic soul band, with a multi-generational, multi-racial line up, with wide appeal to all ages. Three decades of continuous performing ensures that no band in the southern hemisphere makes Soul Music more engaging on ANY stage — anywhere!
