Darebin International Sports Centre

The Darebin International Sports Centre (DISC) is home of the State Lawn Bowls Centre, State Cycling Centre and State Football Centre.

The centre hosted the Lawn Bowls Competition in the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games and the Asia Pacific Games.

Facilities at DISC

--> 4 grass international standard lawn bowls greens
--> Indoor synthetic bowls green in velodrome centre
--> 3 synthetic international standard soccer pitches, with lighting
--> 250m indoor banked timber cycling track (velodrome)

Melbourne is the only city in the world that boasts two indoor velodromes - Hisense Arena (Melbourne Park) and Darebin International Sports Centre.

Cycling


DISC is home to Cycling Victoria (CV) and its main feature is a 250m UCI sanctioned indoor velodrome, with room for 1000 seated and 300 standing room. Cycling Victoria offers racing, training and development programs for everyone!
