City West Water provides water, sewerage and trade waste services to customers in Melbourne's central business district, inner and western suburbs.
City West Water provides high quality drinking water, sewage and trade waste services to over 268,000 customers in Melbourne's central business district and its inner and western suburbs.
The local government areas of Brimbank, Hobsons Bay, Maribyrnong, Melbourne (north of the Yarra River), Moonee Valley, Wyndham, Yarra and parts of Melton and Hume fall within City West Water's boundary.
Owned and regulated by the Victorian Government, our licence is monitored by the Essential Service Commission. Our operations are performed in accordance with the Water Industry Act 1994, Environment Protection Act 1970, Health Act 1958, Trade Practices Act 1974 and in compliance with all other legal and regulatory requirements.
City West Water makes tax equivalent payments and pays dividends to the Victorian Government as our sole shareholder.
