Chadstone Shopping Centre

Chadstone Shopping Centre

Chadstone Shopping Centre is a great place for fashion and there's no better way to experience it all than to take a trip to Chadstone - The Fashion Capital.

International designers of the calibre of A/X Armani Exchange, FCUK, Oroton, Max Co., Mecca Cosmetica and Polo Ralph Lauren sit alongside local labels like Alannah Hill, Anthea Crawford, Carla Zampatti, Trent Nathan and Saba. Sass and Bide, Collette Dinnigan and Princess Highway can be found exclusively at David Jones. Aero, Bracewell, Brave and Bettina Liano are exclusive at Myer. But style doesn't stop there.

Chadstone - The Fashion Capital houses just under 400 stores; Major Stores include Myer, David Jones, Target, JB Hi-Fi, Borders Books Music Cafe, AMF Bowl, Coles, Bi-Lo, Kmart and Toys 'R' Us.

As well as all the biggest names in fashion, Chadstone also offers entertainment for the whole family. Located on the lower level of the Centre is a precinct designed entirely for fun. There you'll find a 16 cinema Hoyts Megaplex, the AMF Bowl, Borders Books Music Cafe, plus other great cafes, bars and funky clothing stores.

Chadstone Shopping Centre opened in 1960 and was the first freestanding regional shopping centre in Melbourne. Chadstone is located approximately 13 km south-east of the Melbourne CBD, positioned between two major arterial roads, the Monash Freeway and Princes Highway. Drive time to Chadstone from Melbourne CBD is approximately 12 minutes and only 35 minutes from the Melbourne Airport using Citylink.

Get there?

By Train
Chadstone Shopping Centre is located close to three suburban train stations – Oakleigh, Hughesdale and Murrumbeena. These stations are accessible on the Dandenong, Cranbourne or Pakenham train lines, leaving City stations regularly. A short bus trip completes the journey to Chadstone from these stations. Chadstone is located in Zone 1 of the metropolitan fare system. For the more energetic, the Hughesdale station is only a short 5-10 minute walk along Poath Road to Chadstone Shopping Centre.

By Bus
With over 900 bus movements per week from 12 suburban bus routes, Chadstone is easily accessible by Bus, as all drop off and pick up from Chadstone frequently.

Parking
Chadstone boasts the largest shopping centre car park in Australia, with over 8,500 free car parking spaces, many of which are undercover.
