Alma Doepel Restoration Site

Alma Doepel Restoration Site

The Alma Doepel is a three masted topsail schooner, Australian built and operated, being restored at Docklands by members of the Alma Doepel Supporter's Club.

The Alma Doepel Supporter's Club (ADSC) was founded in 1976 "to provide both physical and monetary assistance to the ship’s restoration".

COME AND SEE US
Alma Doepel Restoration Site
Shed 2, North Wharf Road, Victoria Harbour, Docklands, 2008
Open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays
Visitors and volunteers welcome. Also monthly get-togethers.

ADSC have over the years also contributed financially by running raffles, selling souvenirs, conducting functions and guided tours of the ship.

We have reached another milestone in the restoration of our 1903 topsail schooner Alma Doepel. The ship will soon be lifted from the water on a floating barge designed by our restoration team.

Buy a Plank

We need your help to raise the funds to set our experienced shipwright team to work on the hull.
We invite you to ‘buy a plank for Alma’ - you will become part of Alma Doepel’s history. Your name will be recorded for posterity on Alma’s Honour Board and the location of your plank on the ship’s hull. A real talking point and something for the family memoirs.

When: Every Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Time: 10am – 5pm
