Aja Restaurant

Aja Restaurant transports you to Asia for a taste of traditional Asian, Thai, Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese cuisine in Albert Park.

Featuring a great design and use of colour, coupled with a user-friendly menu drawing on China, Japan, Vietnam and Malaysia, resulting in a top dining restaurant.

Aja's showcases dishes from all over south-east Asia, such as satay aja (sticks of chicken and beef skewered and grilled to perfection served with minced tomato chilli and herb sauces); roast beef seaweed rolls; whole prawn toast (king prawns, slightly floured, deep-fried and served on soy toast), tempura battered fish with sweet and sour sauce; and lamb shank slow-cooked for hours in rice wine and northern Chinese spices.

The dining space is stunning with wood panel floorboards, rattan chairs and gleaming red lamp wall decorations exuding a warm glow beside reclining Buddhas. An elevated dining space beside the full bar at the rear of the restaurant provides a more secluded enclave of tables and winding stairs lead to further private dining spaces.

The service is refreshingly unobtrusive and with flavours that travel right across Asia you are presented the opportunity to take a culinary mini-break from Japan to Malaysia, India, Korea, China and Thailand.
